Product description:
The BUTYL sealing tape is made of a layer of self-adhesive butyl compound and a carrier material made of PP fleece. An excellent material that serves as a supplement to any insulating layer. Can be used both outside and inside.
Application:
For sealing floor drains, connection and corner joints, and for bridging joints. The self-adhesive butyl sealing tape is used to seal the butt joint and as a connection tape for wet areas that are moderately stressed by non-pressing water, such as showers, bathrooms or balconies and terraces. The preparation of the subsurface depends on the type of subsoil, its properties and the intended sealing system. The raw material provides excellent compatibility and a good bond with polymer dispersions (liquid film), mineral flexible sealing slurries and reaction resins. Before further products are applied, it is advisable to carry out a compatibility test.
